Possible Issues:

If you have latest Teamspeak 3 version, only one teamspeak can be installed at the time, you'll need to uninstall it to install the old one, otherwise you will get issues, since both versions share files with each other. Unless if you manually change the keys and directories for it.
With any older Teamspeak 3 version It'll constantly ask for update, we recommend having a Firewall and block the 'update.exe' file, so you don't update it accidentally. The file is located in the main Teamspeak 3 folder.
